June 2-8 is around the corner and Campari® and Imbibe magazine will present a nationwide Negroni Week, with a portion of the proceeds from every Negroni sold at participating bars and restaurants donated to the charity of their choice. In addition, Campari, the one-of-a-kind red spirit, will donate $10,000 to the top fundraising establishment’s charity.
The event last year in more than 120 bars and restaurants grew from its grass-roots origins to "an orchestrated effort around the world, giving bartenders and Campari fans a chance to give back to causes that matter most in their communities,” says Umberto Luchini, Head of Marketing, Campari America.
This year's Negroni Week takes place in partnership with USBG, the U.S. Bartenders Guild, using the classic Negroni cocktail as the catalyst. It's made with one part gin and one part each of Campari and sweet vermouth.
