An Oregon bartender got one big tip this week from one of her regular customers. The unnamed patron often leaves Keno tickets as a tip for the Aurora Kephart, but this time one of the tickets was worth a small fortune, according to Fox News live on Sunday, Oct. 6.

The AP reports that the Conway Restaurant and Lounge is a neighborhood place, where about 80 percent of Kephart’s customers are regulars. When she checked the two Keno tickets and found out one was worth $5 and the other worth, $17,500, she went right over the customer and tried to give him his ticket back.

The customer refused telling her it was her tip. He then made her sign the ticket so no one but Kephart could cash the ticket in for the winning money. She went to the lottery and cashed in her tip, but she did give the man a percentage of the ticket, she said she wouldn’t have it any other way.

Kephart didn’t take any time off, she kept working. When asked what she was going to buy with the winning, she said a couch. Sure enough she was out couch-hunting the next day, but she was astounded at the price of furniture!
