Jeanette Lawrence, a bartender at Ward's Publick House restaurant, was charged with a DUI on March 1, 2013 after her car swerved into oncoming traffic and crashed into another car in Warwick, RI.
The drunk driving crash happened on Post Road at approximately 11 p.m. ET on Friday.
The car Lawrence crashed into was driven by Jessica Harris of Warwick. Also in the car was her mother, Julie Gelfuso and Harris' 11-year-old daughter, who is in critical condition at Hasbro Children's Hospital in Providence.
Gelfuso and Harris were also severely injured in the crash. They are both at Rhode Island Hospital suffering from multiple injuries.
Lawrence, 48, who describes herself on her Facebook page as a "bartender extraordinaire," has been employed by the Warwick restaurant, Ward's Publick House, since 2004. At this time, there is no confirmation that Lawrence was at work prior to the accident.
Prior to that position, she worked at Julia's Soups (1999- 2006) and Wright's Farm (1993 to 1995).
From 1983 to 1987 she was employed by Vastgota Nation, where she describes the job as "....booking bands, laughing with good friends and drinking a lot of beers..."
Jeanette Lawrence was also taken to Rhode Island with serious injuries and is listed in stable condition.
She has two children, 17 and 23. She was alone in the car at the time of the accident.
She faces charges of driving under the influence (DUI) and refusal to submit to a chemical test, with additional charges a possibility as the investigation continues.
