BART trains to run late for New Year's revelers

If you are in the mood to really celebrate the new year 2014 in the Bay Area and you want to be able to take public transit to get home safely, you are in luck.

BART recently announced that it will be running trains until 3 a.m. on New Year's Eve and early New Year's morning. This is a great thing indeed so people can get around safely without having to drive out of the big Bay Area cities after watching fireworks or other celebrations at midnight.

If you are new to the Bay Area and are not familiar with the BART train system, make sure to check out their website. You will be very surprised at hoe convenient and affordable it is.

What about if you are flying into and out of San Francisco International Airport (SFO)? Well, of course BART has a station right there in the airport. Find out more information at this link.

Remember to always have a designated driver to pick you up from the BART stations after the celebrations. Try to be extra safe this year as we bring in the new year 2014.
