This weekend there will be a free health and sports event at the Cox Convention Center, hosted by some very famous Oklahoma athletes.
In the 1970's and 1980's Bart Conner, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cot-xDx2YJY Oklahoma University Gymnast and Olympic Gold Medalist, along with his now wife, Nadia Comaneci, the first to earn a perfect 10 in Women's Gymnastics in the Olympics lived worlds apart. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4m2YT-PIkEc
They eventually came together, married, and are now parents and owners of a worldclass gymnastics center in Norman, Oklahoma.

The next three days, Nadia Comaneci will host a college level gymnastics tournament in downtown Oklahoma City at the Cox Convention Center. As part of Mrs. Obama's campaign " Let's Move" Oklahoma has taken this to heart in more than one way.... as earlier this year, Mayor Mick Cornett was listed on the front page of the Science Section of the New York Times for being a "red" Mayor in a "red" state... and utilizing monies from the Obama Administration to improve health in Oklahoma City.
