Barry Manilow is a legend when it comes to his music. He is one of those performers whom people either love or hate. However, there are plenty of fans that enjoy his music and sell out many of his concerts. Manilow has been making music since the early 70s. For the past seven years, he has been performing on contract in Las Vegas. Now, he is off on a tour across the United States, including a stop at the Milwaukee Theatre in Wisconsin on April 28 at 8 p.m.
While Manilow will likely play many of his old favorites, including “Mandy,” “Copacabana” and “Can’t Smile without You,” he will also perform some of his newer songs. His most recent album, “15 Minutes,” was recently released in November. “Bring on Tomorrow,” the first single from the album, debuted on the Hot 200 Single’s Chart’s Top 40. This was his 47th Top 40 hit.
Barry Manilow is coming to Milwaukee for the first time since 2000. He has only played in Wisconsin three other times in the past: January 19, 1977, October 20, 1982 and April 28, 2000. This makes it a rare treat for those living in the area.
Tickets for the Barry Manilow concert go on sale Friday morning, February 3, 2012 at 10 a.m. Tickets for his concerts can be quite affordable. The price ranges from $9.99 up to $174.99. You can purchase your tickets from Ticketmaster or the Milwaukee Theatre box office.
