Barone, entering with a 163 average, fired games of 191, 198 and 218 for a 599 scratch series (752 handicap), while Banks, entering at 185, rolled scores of 190, 214 and 214 for 618 scratch (712 handicap).
That provided the winning tandem with a net total of 1,464 and the top prize of $180, as compared to the 1,388 posted by the runner-up team of James Geist and Barb Moran.
Sam Steiner and Danny Shaffer finished in the No. 3 position with 1,367, while Mike Romig and Cindy Grich were fourth at 1,365.
Rounding out the list of cashers were Larry Butler and Cecilia Butler (1,357), Barb Ripley and Craig Ripley (1,355), Bob Pazur and Pam Rizzo (1,334), Janet Romig and Chuck Warner (1,333), and Carlton Flonnoy and Van Hinson (1,332).

Meanwhile, the optional Alibi Doubles -- in which bowlers can combine their scores with non-partner tournament participants -- was won by Mike Romig and Chuck Warner with a score of 1,443.
Jamie Garrett finished in the next three positions -- with Larry Butler (1,430), Craig Ripley (1,388) and Cindy Territo (1,384) -- and he was also seventh, pairing with Chris Christmas (1,364).
Fifth place went to Bob Pazur and Clyde Stary (1,378), and the No. 6 spot was captured by Pazur and Jeff Pennell (1,369).
Completing the list of Alibi cashers were: Donald Martel and Danny Shaffer (1,340), Mike Romig and Janet Romig (1.338), and Pazur and Janet Romig (1,336).
High game of the tournament was rolled by Mark Donushi with a 269, while Warner had a 246, Craig Ripley a 243 and Geist a 242. Pazur posted the high series of 679. Among the women, Barb Ripley and Cindy Grich had games of 227 and 226, respectively, while Barone had high series at 599.
Three additional Century Doubles events are scheduled for the 2013-2014 season, and they will be held at 2 p.m. on the following dates: Dec. 8 at Sarasota Lanes; March 16 at Treasure Lanes in Port Charlotte; and May 18 at AMF Gulf Gate Lanes.
