This trick can be used in your barn or in your home, wherever you might suspect you have a flea problem. None of us like fleas; but they are everywhere, and unless you spend a lot of money and treat your barn, home and pets often, you will probably still have some. Here is a trick you can try, and it might even be fun for the whole family.
- Mix Dawn dish washing liquid in water and stir to make bubbles.
- Pour into a dish; a white dish with 2 to 3 inch sides works the best.
- Using a 60 watt light bulb in a clamp light, hang about a foot above a dish of water. (make sure clamp light is secure!)
- Leave light on, even through the night
Fleas are attracted to the white dish and the heat from the light bulb. Be sure to stir at least once a day to keep the bubbles stirred up.
