Throwback Article: I’m really in to animal rights and adopting pets. In the fall in 2013 (September 27th, 2013) at the Holland Project art gallery and music venue, I put together a benefit concert with some of my band friends called “Bark That Beat” all together (ticket sales and admission) we raised over $300.00 for the Nevada Humane Society. I had bands and DJs; Teewrecks, from Memory Motel C.J. Gibson, comedian Ryan Parker, and CRVSH. Ever since the first concert and it was such a success I am planning another one for the Nevada Humane Society. In late summer I will be doing another BTB for the NHS, with details coming soon. The performances at the first Bark That Beat started with (DJ) Teewrecks and his dubstep to trap tracks that he created himself. Next was comedian Ryan Parker; Parker usually does his own music but for this event he did some very funny standup comedy. Now from Memory Motel C.J Gibson AKA “Neil Degrasse Tyson Jr. High” really got the night pumpin’ with his DJ set the whole crowed in and outside started dancing! Now the wait was over the band everyone loves coming to the show to see; CRVSH! Aaron Sion, Jimmy Dunn & Daniel Sion played some never before heard songs “No Sleep Tonight”, “Rain” and more. Closing The Night with the newly remixed song off their first album ‘First Crush’ “Happy”! I would like to thank everyone who came out to the concert and the bands/djs for playing for everyone! This year will be so much better and bigger than last year! Bark That Beat Is Going Neon In 2014!
