Barbour and One Warm Coat team up for annual coat drive with a twist

In it's sixth consecutive year Barbour once again has begun its partnership with One Warm Coat. One Warm Coat is an organization that was started back in 1992 with the idea in mind to collect coats for those in need, free of charge. This year Barbour the quintessential British fashion brand has added a special twist to the coat drive. For every coat that is donated to US stores for One Warm Coat, Barbour will match the donation with one sweater or shirt to a selected charity.

'Our commitment to match every coat donation with a Barbour shirt or sweater turns the focus back on the true meaning of this program and that is to give back to those in our neighborhoods and communities in need of assistance during this holiday season'; said Christopher Sapienza, Head of Barbour Retail, North America. 'We hope our customers will help us meet our goals of collecting 1.500 coats at Barbour retail stores to trigger donations of 1.500 shirts or sweaters to our charity partners'.

The charity drive which began on Nov. 15 will continue through Dec. 31. Barbour retail stores will accept any coat that has been gently used and in wearable conditions for both men and women and will be distributed to each local agency's charity partner and then distributed to local men and women in need.

The following is a list of charities that have been selected to receive the donations from One Warm Coat and Barbour:
