Barbara Walters suggests Nancy Grace’s remarks on Whitney Houston for ratings

Barbara Walters and Nancy Grace have been friendly, but Nancy Grace's latest statements about Whitney Houston’s death has Barbara Walters reminding everyone CNN needs ratings. On Friday’s The View, the co-hosts of the popular daytime talk show had some serious words for Nancy Grace who suggested someone killed Whitney Houston. Nancy Grace reportedly has suggested someone pushed her under the water or allowed her to slip. This theory has never been presented that is until Grace brought it up.

"And watch her ratings. You know I mean somehow or other… Right now she doesn't have a crime to get into,” said Barbara Walters, a distinguished journalist.  "We like Nancy Grace and she is entertaining but this gives her an issue.”

What has people in such an outrage just a day before Whitney Houston’s funeral is that Nancy Grace refused to apologize for on Friday’s Good Morning America program for being overly dramatic when she was called out. Nancy Grace's original quote, so very over the top, has everyone shocked she wouldn’t consider apologizing and allow the fans to grieve without the anguish.

"Who let [Whitney Houston] slip, or pushed her, underneath that water?" She added, "Apparently, no signs of force or trauma to the body. Who let Whitney Houston go under her water?"

Barbara Walters reminded everyone the funeral was over the weekend and ended the segment with a strong reminder.  “Maybe after that she [Whitney] can rest in peace and so can we.”
