Barbara Walters is still not taking any visitors. After missing President Obama’s inauguration after falling, it appears that the broadcaster has more problems and is still receiving hospital care. According to Whoopi Goldberg who gave an update for the fans Monday on The View, unfortunately Barbara Walters has chicken pox.
"You all know that she fell and cut her head 10 days ago, and then was running a temperature, but it turns out it is all the result of a delayed childhood. Barbara has the chicken pox,” said Whoopi Goldberg on The View. “She'd never had it as a child. So now she's been told to rest, she's not allowed any visitors. and we're telling you, Barbara, no scratching."
Chicken pox are usually a contagious disease that children so it’s rare that someone who is 83 years old might catch such an ailment. Being that she is older, there isn’t any doubt she is under close medical attention.
Hopefully Walters will get well soon as the fans of The View do miss seeing her on television!
