Walters, 84, co-host of “The View,” has enjoyed an uncommon 60-year career as a journalist and national icon. And she has accomplished what most of us will never accomplish in our lifetime.

One of the questions Piers asked Walters was, “If you could invite three people to a dinner party, who would they be?” Her response was, “I would like Jesus…to come.” Walters also stated that she wanted “The Pope” to come.

The talk show host further went on to ask, if she were on a stranded island, what would she do/read, and Walters gave another surprising response, she said, “The Bible.” Walters stated that she has read bits of the Bible, but not the entire thing.

Piers really came through with fascinating questions to deliver a powerful interview with Barbara Walters, a beloved television icon and legend.

Good job Piers!
