First there is Miley Cyrus. There went wholesome Hannah Montana and this year she was twerking on stage and swinging half naked on a wrecking ball. She wanted to see that it is about her music and that she is grown up with her new album Bangers. Even though her mom is her manager, she is now twenty and is doing her own thing and she has made her mark this year.
Next is Prince George, the royal baby. On July 22 this year he was born. He is third in line for the thrown and will be watched with every breath. He reminds us of his noble and historic family. His grandmother has been gone for over ten years but the world still sees her hope for the future in this beautiful baby boy.
The others were a mixture of all types of celebrities. There is Kanye West and Kim Kardashian's relationship and their baby North. There is Pope Francis who is bring "caring" back into the Catholism and letting us know that he accepts the "gay" lifestyle. There is Jennifer Lawrence who at twenty three has been applauded for her portrayal of interesting women who take their own paths. There is even the Robertson family from Duck Dynasty who remind us how family and faith can stay alive even when a multi-million dollar duck caller business.
Two women that stand out on the list is Robin Roberts, the first black anchorwoman on ESPN. She had a deadly blood disease this past year and let the her Good Morning America audience experience the high and lows with her. Lastly, the most fascinating woman to Barbara Walters is Hillary Clinton, a woman who has done much for the voice of a woman in politics who stood by her man in thick and thin as first lady and who is now being asked by many to be our first woman president.
