On Wednesday night Barbara Walters presented the “10 Most Fascinating People of 2009,” which included reality TV star mom Kate Gosselin. During “Barbara Walters 10 Most Fascinating People of 2009” interview with Kate Gosselin, who was sporting a new more relaxed hair style, Barbara Walters asked Kate Gosselin about her eight children, estranged husband Jon Gosselin, and revealed Kate Gosselin’s plans for her upcoming TV show.
As Kate Gosselin is no stranger to interviews, the mother of eight answered Barbara Walters question about her marriage to Jon Gosselin, “Do you still love Jon?” Kate Gosselin replied stating, “I love the Jon that I remember, the Jon that I knew, the Jon that used to be the bath man and the bed-time guy.”
Barbara Walters went on to ask Kate Gosselin, “If you could would you want Jon to come back? Would you want the marriage to go on?” Gosselin replied with a seemingly saddened look on her face, “At this point, no.”
Barbara Walters also stated Kate Gosselin's television career is not over, as she is scheduled to begin a new talk show in the spring, reportedly with Paula Deen.
Also rounding out “Barbara Walters 10 Most fascinating People of 2009” were Lady Gaga, Glenn Beck, Tyler Perry, Adam Lambert, Sarah Palin, Brett Favre, Jenny Sanford, Michael Jackson's three children and the mystery guest Michelle Obama.

Why Barbara would waste my time, I don't know. Interviewing her is equivalent to interviewing 'Balloon Boy's' Dad.
Barbara Walter's has her Ten most fascinating people and I have mine...as does everyone else. We're not in agreement. She's sort of famous and has a TV show to talk about and to her top Ten and I don't. That's the only difference. No one should really care who she finds fascinating any more than they would care about who I find fascinating. In other words, no discussion of her show is really necessary or warranted. She's sort of like that Mr. Blackwell guy who emerged from somewhere and annually picked the Ten Worst Dressed Celebrities (women) of the year. It was amusing and all for the words he used to describe the womens' "styles" but not worthy of discussion otherwise.
Barb wanted people to get ratings - not the 10 most fascinating...........
Hopefully this is the last we'll see of Ms. Gosselin. She'll be history by the time Spring rolls around. The children will fade into anonymity like so many multiples do after their cutesy phase is over.
Barbara is right. Kate will do well. I'd like to see you Robyn go through what Kate has and then we'll call you nauseating.
Hopefully in a year we will be saying Kate who? Why did Walters pick a talentless money grubber like Gosselin and ignore Susan Boyle?
Can't imagine what Barbara Walters was thinking. A very classy lady picks a "Kate b..... Gosselin" as fascinating? For what, exploiting her children, castrating her husband, playing diva .... pimping her children for "pap" attention. I was so disappointed in Barbara's choice. Kate, as usual, played the semi-teary eyed "single" Mom. Only forgot to say she has a couple of million dollars to fall back on even if she doesn't work another day in her life! POOR KATE...what a joke!
TOO MUCH BOTOX ZILLA? WOW you should sue your plastic surgeon and its NOT Hailey's dad. What a disaster that whole show was. IF Barbra thinks that Kate is one of the most fascinating she is losing her ever loving mind.
I missed the whole thing cuz of Kate. She was in Raleigh NC yesterday filming she was pretending to be a waitress for the show I get that alot and when our local news showed up her body guard Steve Nield closed the blinds and made them leave. SHE WILL NEVER BE OUT OF WORK AND MAKING FUN OF WAITRESSES geez they must not will let her film in the hospital or she cud pretend to be a nurse.
Kate should be given all the credit in the world...she was not good to Jon at times but neither was he. She had more stress than anyone could imagine...so organized and yes, it had to be that way. Taking time to save coupons, buy on sale and eat organic should be given MUCH credit. She cooks from scratch with 8 childten...you all try that. Stop the bad talk. Jon be what you were...we loved you in the beginning. You will regret this.

Babs oughta - no, she's too classy - someone oughta do a "10 Most DeFascinating People." It would be the 10 folks who are slipping out of the limelight most quickly. The Gosselins, Brett Favre, Sarah Palin (so 2008), Tyler Perry (who's made the same movie 18 times), and Glenn Beck (someday, properly prescribed meds will make him much less "fascinating") can all stay on the list. I'd add Barack Obama (so much much promise, so little spine); Taylor Swift (Kanye proved it: Henessey never lies); the nudie-sexy-girl pop star (Adam Lambert hipped us all to these trollops' shenanigans - so, Beyonce, see ya); and the Power Career Woman (who's as Mean and Useless as any Man has ever been). I'd watch that show! Heck, I'd back it financially.
Kate Gosselin is a joke and most people find her phony and nauseating. nothing fascinating about her unless that was meant in a bad way. lots of things are facinating, it does not make them good. i wish they would let this no talent shrew slip into oblivion. shame on Barbara Walters, her standards are certainly out of whack these days!!
