Barack Obama White House tourists: President Obama talks cheer with Steve Harvey

President Barack Obama pleased White House tourists this week after sitting down for a fun conversation to talk cheer and Christmas with show host Steve Harvey. During the interview, set to air in just two days, funnyman Harvey was the one who encouraged the U.S. President to surprise some of the unsuspecting public visitors by leaving the set and seeing some fans personally. People shares the inside details on the fun rendezvous this Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013.

To shake things up on the show, President Barack Obama shocked White House tourists recently with Steve Harvey after the latter thought of the interesting idea of letting go of just the chitchat and partaking in some real talk with the people.

"Let's go spread some Christmas cheer," President Obama, smiling, agreed. Both men then appeared in the middle of a White House tour in order to give guests a very unexpected treat during the annual holiday tour of the president's home.

According to the report, all of the tourists were overjoyed to see both President Obama and Steve Harvey together, adding that they had no idea they would ever actually be seeing the U.S. Commander in Chief in person. Most of the White House visitors seemed to be in literal awe.

"You're an inspiration," one young girl nervously said to the president as the tourists waved at Obama and Harvey.

"You've got ears just like me," the president told another young man. "That gives you some special power!" he joked.

To a woman celebrating her birthday on the Barack Obama White House tourists meeting, the President then added, "You get a birthday hug." He then proceeded to give the woman a quick, yet warm embrace.

Harvey, unfortunately, got quite a bit less of attention and cheer than the President, though as always, the funnyman took it in stride. After all, he noted, when one is standing next to Barack Obama, it might be easy to be overlooked.

"I've never been ignored this many times ever," he concluded with a shake of his head. Harvey ended up still going for the laughs instead to the tourists, once introducing himself with the statement, "Hi, I'm Cedric the Entertainer."

Steve Harvey’s talk with President Obama will air this Friday on his television show, so stay tuned to see the excited White House visitors live soon enough.
