Although the approval rating of Barack Obama has been on a steady decline in recent months -- according to a new poll -- a few White House tourists were overjoyed when Steve Harvey and Obama decided to surprise them during a tour. A Dec. 18 report from USA Today says that when Steve Harvey interviewed President Obama last week, he talked him into chatting with some other guests: White House tourists.

One of the White House tourists was an elated boy who had a noticeably similar feature as the president: his ears. Obama told the boy, “You got ears just like me. They give you some special power.”

Another White House tourist was a woman who was celebrating her birthday. Obama told her.."You get a birthday hug." Obama also offered a “feliz Navidad” greeting to another wide-eyed White House tourist and he followed that up with a handshake to a member of the military, Today reports.

Undoubtedly, the Barack Obama visit was the highlight of the White House tourists' day.

Harvey's interview with Obama is scheduled to air this Friday on his daytime television show.
