President Barack Obama's meeting with Netanyahu yesterday turned out to be another Israeli charade. President Obama actually left the meeting for a time to have dinner with First Lady Michelle Obama. It wasn't a slap in the face of the Israeli Prime Minister as some in the Israeli right wing media have suggested. It was more like Obama the diplomat signifying that there was not much diplomacy going on at the meeting. Not much if anything was accomplished. Everything the U.S. wanted was on the table in black and white. Israel basically said we'll think about it. Netanyahu Announced on his plane ride home that Israel had reached the "golden mean" in their land disputes with Palestinians. I don't think so.
The meeting signified more than anything that Netanyahu may not be the right leader for the job right now in Israel. It's time to give Kadima leader Tzipi Livni her chance. If she can survive that long. She has some qualities that might be better suited for the task at hand. While the Likud party is to be applauded for the sacrifices many of their members have made in establishing a Jewish homeland. The military fervor that runs in the party's blood is ill equipped to handle an increasingly complicated Israeli foreign policy. A policy that gets more and more complicated everyday.
The U.S. has begun to distance itself from the Israeli situation on the inside. While continuing to provide Israel the same lip service they have been giving the U.S.. From a global perspective the United Nations Human Rights council condemned Israel today.
Americans are familiar with the sayings "if you're going to talk the talk, you've got to walk the walk", "go head on with your bad self", and my favorite "do your thing baby". U.S. and Israeli relations are starting to resemble these phrases. It makes sense, if Israel is going to continue to brazenly disregard U.S. recommendations. Now the AJC issued this statement today on General Patreus. Other Israeli papers were quick to put their spin on the General's thoughts. However you decide to interpret this, there is no disputing the Secretary of Defense, Gates recent statements. "The absence of Middle East peace does affect US national security interests in the region," US Secretary of Defense Robert Gates said Thursday.
If Jewish slanted media outlets like the Washington Post and Fox news ever allow Americans to see through the health care smoke screen. Which they don't intend to. Then Republicans and conservative American's will never see their path to power. That path lies in making a connection between American soldiers lives being lost and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
The task at hand is formidable for the United States. The objective is clear. We are determined to slowly apply pressure to Israel to come to the table. Each time we do, Israel throws us a curve ball. As Palestinian Notes, Ray Hanania points out, the Middle East is well aware of the games Israel and its American media partners are playing against Obama.
So how does the U.S. move forward? They've taken it slow. Not wanting to revisit the Yitzhak Rabin type atmosphere during the Clinton era. For one, the Obama administration needs to continue doing what they have been doing in recent days. Distance themselves from Israel. Show the Arab world that the U.S. is an impartial observer in the peace process. And if right wing Israel continues attempts at destabilizing the Obama administration's domestic policy through their connections in the United States media. Then fight fire with fire.
For instance, there are many Israeli citizens that still have not forgotten what happened in the assassination of Yitzhak Rabin. The relaxed security that day from Shin Bet. By the way, Shin Bet means "Defender that shall not be seen". Great name, the only problem is they were a little clumsy this time around. In March 1997, President Kennedy’s son, John, Jr., ran a controversial article in his magazine, George. The article was written by Guela Amir, mother of Yigal Amir, the man who assassinated Israeli prime minister Yitzhak Rabin in 1995. Now I think John Jr. knew a thing or two about assassinations.
To the Obama administration, it may be best to leave Netanyahu to his own fate, too many Dybbuks are following him around. It is a logical process if you look at the condition of the economy, financial markets, and jobs when Obama took office, that the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is just another one of the left over problems from the previous administration. We should help our Jewish friends as much as possible. But if they won't get with the program it will be tough to deal with them.
My take on the current rift is that Obama wants Netanyahu, the Jewish diaspora, and any Jewish sympathizers in the media to understand one important lesson. This is purely conjecture, backed up by my years of immersion in the African diaspora. To put it blunt, Obama seems to be screaming to Israel from the core of his personal identity, "you are not going to run me nor the United States". Already ant-semitic acts are occurring through out the United States. In pressing Obama the Jewish dominated media in America has over shot its mark. But on the other hand, they have gotten the attention Israelis seem to be craving.
Recently Israeli MK Prof. Aryeh Eldad said "Jerusalem is always 'explosive', he said -- it was explosive in Biblical times as well." He's absolutely correct on that assertion. Sounds like Eldad is ready to "walk the walk".

Netanyahu needs to remember:
Israel needs the US,
the US does not need Israel.
With that said, who should lead the dance?
Damn I actually agree with that dimwit "walrus" for once. Don't be misled though Cliffy after all barry is the first jewish POTUS, and his COS Rahm Emanuel is a dual citizen of Israel and a rabid supporter of Israel. Along with Ballerina Boy you also have "Higgins" Axelrod another member of the tribe along with SEIU Boss Andy Stern and of course barry's protege/mentor George Soros also one of the chosen. Hey Cliffy ya got the beard looking tight playa. I'm glad ya ditched the old look cuz, ya looked too thugged out, now ya got the 007 shaken not stirred goin' on playa. Need some gators and you'd be rollin' cuz.
I think this is where the inexperienced Obama is seen flailing at his worst. Lost in a sea of ideology and narcissism, petty grievances and ill informed handlers, I doubt he can pull this world class problem out of the frying pan.
Elections have consequences.
God states in the Holy Bible that if you ignore Israel, I will ignore you. Barack Hussein Obama is making certain that the USA will be ignored by God! But what else would you expect from a muslim?
GOD, not allah bless America!
What are you talking about? Michelle Obama is in New York City and has been since Saturday.

Did you even read the first paragraph ding bat?
Are you calling me a dingbat? I did read the first paragraph. It says this, "President Barack Obama's meeting with Netanyahu yesterday turned out to be another Israeli charade. President Obama actually left the meeting for a time to have dinner with First Lady Michelle Obama" which is blatantly untrue so why should I waste my time reading the rest?
Gentlemen allow me to interject it looks like the very stylish Clifford Bryan is in fact the "dingbat" for spelling the aforementioned slur as two words, when in fact "dingbat" is one word. Clifford still maintains all of his cool points because he sports the 3rd most epic beard in the country behind Epic Beard Man and Kimbo Slice.
Is there a cash prize for that. I'll take your word for the spelling
There is a huge population of americans living in Israel..The author of this article is clueless..
Oh and those "Americans living in Israel" are probably jewish too huh. It never ceases to amaze me at the mostly liberal American jews who preach open borders and unlimited immigration to all European countries, Canada, Australia, United States etc., yet immigration to their own country is restricted almost entirely to jews only. Also these hypocrites preach multiculture to the same aforementioned countries, yet in Israel whole towns and villages are segregated.

Can we say megalomaniac, anyone. OBAMA decided the meeting was useless and ended it? Did he think he was the superior? What an obvious piece of bias! "Obama the diplomat..." And Netanyahu the what....the unreasonable? And who are WE to decide someone other than Netanyahu should now be the leader of Israel? A lot of people need to quit getting their news and history spoon-fed to them! I am ashamed of the blatant disrespect to the biggest ally this country has!
Sorry our biggest ally is Britian. Is Israel really an ally? Ever hear of the Lavon Affair? Ever hear of the USS Liberty?
Israel is a sovereign nation... you presume to tell them who they should elect or who should be in power? How arrogant!
and tell me... just what did Israel gain by giving up Gaza? Peace? or a barrage of rockets into Israel? So give Hamas and the PLO more land to launch more attacks of Israel? Its a sham. What if the "UN" and other nations came here and told us to give Texas back to Mexico? Would we stand for it? Its delusional. And Israel was attacked repeated by other nations... Egypt, Syria, Iraq, etc... they LOST... now WAAAAAAA we want (read PLO) the land back...
Stop excusing low-class behavior from this president.
