Announced today, President Barack Obama has filled out his March Madness brackets for this year's men's and women's NCAA tournament. In the men's tournament, the President chose the Indiana Hoosiers to win it all with Ohio State, Florida, and top seeded Louisville filling out the Final Four. For the women's bracket, Obama picked Baylor, Connecticut, Notre Dame and California to make the Final Four; his entire women's bracket will be unveiled on Friday.
Obama had this to say about his tournament picks during a Wednesday taping of SportsCenter:
"I'm going with Louisville. I know it's not a surprise pick, and I'm going with Indiana. These are the two best teams right now, and for the championship I'm going back to the Big Ten. I think this is Indiana's year."
Ever since he took office, President Obama has filled out a men's and women's March Madness bracket. In the five years of his presidency, Obama has only chosen a correct champion once when he picked North Carolina to win in 2009. He hasn't been very lucky in his Final Four picks since, Obama has correctly picked only two teams to the Final Four in his last three years worth of brackets. Obama has correctly picked the women's champion two years in a row.
