Model Bar Refaeli, in the Go Daddy kissing commercial, has caused quite a buzz. On Feb. 4, 2013, TMZ reported that the Super Bowl spot has become a game changer for the actor who played the nerd, 34-year-old Jesse Heiman.
Heiman, who appeared in "American Pie 2" and "The Social Network," was fairly unknown up to this point, even though he's been in over 150 TV shows and movies. When asked in a Time 2011 interview if it's true his IMDb page barely scratches the surface of all the work he's done, Heiman responded, "Yeah, it’s definitely cut off because they don’t generally count the uncredited stuff, which is generally all the background stuff. But at this point it doesn’t matter if it’s credited or uncredited, people now know who I am."
If some people didn't know who the curly haired Heiman was then, they know now. Reportedly, the commercial has changed the actor's life. "I’ve actually had guys tweet me that they wish they were me, and girls tweet me saying they wish they were Bar," said Jesse. "I have girls run up to me and take pictures with me, tweet me for dates."
But it's Heiman's career as an actor that has also experienced a massive change. "There are lots of inquiries coming in to my agent and manager, their phone has been ringing off the hook, but they are really letting me enjoy the moment right now."
