Bar Code Bonanza at Hill Country Weavers this First Thursday

As Austinites welcome September and the promise of slightly cooler days that it may bring, Hill Country Weavers once again welcomes Austinites to enjoy great deals for this month's First Thursday sale.

The theme is Bar Code Bonanza, as the store has begun to implement a new sticker pricing system.  The bar codes, which look like the one pictured at left, will not only allow the store to organize stock and check out with greater ease, but will be a quick indicator for customers to see the name of the yarn as well as the price.

For one day only only, all of the yarns which have the new bar coded sticker will be 20% off.  So far, that includes most of their independently-dyed yarn as well as selections from several other brands.  In their e-mail newsletter, the store singled out these yarns as ones to look out for:

Those who can't make it to the store can still take advantage of the sale by inputting the word 'BARCODE' at check out on these yarns:

Come see the new system in action and help the staff get used to the bar codes by having them scan lots of skeins to add to your stash.  The store will, as always, be open late until 9 pm.
