Everyone loves a super cute video, right? Well this one is no different. The baby panda's first outdoor experience was caught on tape for all to see -- and yes, the video might go viral. Often met with words like "cute" and "cuddly," giant pandas are actually an endangered species. Many reside at zoos or sanctuaries where they are protected.
"Bao Bao, which means 'treasure,' lives in the National Zoo in Washington DC. The cub was born on August 23, 2013 and is one of only several hundred giant pandas alive today in captivity, a small fraction of the fewer than 2,000 giant pandas in the world," reports E! News.
This panda is with his mom who he has spent a lot of time with over the last several months. While he did eventually venture off to explore the great outdoors by himself. Bao Bao stuck close by his mom, Mei Xiang, at times too. Check out the video above to see some of the adorable footage.
Bao Bao's mother was artificially inseminated according to E! News.
