"Banshee" is currently airing on Channel 220 in Tempe. On Saturday, Feb. 2, Collider shared new comments made by the star of the series, Ivana Milicevic. Spoiler TV also shared the preview for "Banshee" episode 1.05 titled "The Kindred." Check out photos of the actress from Getty Images in the slide show.
"Banshee" is the latest series from Alan Ball. He is the man that brought "True Blood" to HBO, but he left that series at the end of season five to focus on this new series. According to TV By The Numbers, Cinemax has already picked up this series for a second season. With this series, there is violence and sex, but fans who have seen Ball's work on "True Blood" know sex and violence are a part of how he does things. Milicevic said the following about the amount of sex on the series, according to Collider:
"People are like, 'Oh, it’s Cinemax,' and yeah, there’s sex there, but not more than any other awesome HBO show. There’s not more sex than Game of Thrones. But, the female characters are so strong and fleshed out. My character is incredible to play. My two characters, in a way."
On this series, the actress plays a woman with very two different sides. She has a criminal past, but she is now a wife and mother. She had changed since becoming a mother. The actress did tease that the man from her past that she wronged is 'coming to get paid, someway, somehow.'
In the episode teased in the preview, a group of bikers will rampage at the town festival. This will lead to death, and the town will want to fight back for the act. Fans are buzzing about this series on social media. One fan said the following on Twitter recently:
The fight scene in last week's Banshee episode is legit. Even if you don't like racy cable shows, that fight was hardcore. #Banshee.
"Banshee" will continue to air on Channel 220 in Tempe on Friday nights.
