Bands, Brew and BBQ at SeaWorld Orlando, part two: The brew (Photos)

Beer and BBQ go together so well on a hot summer afternoon, but you don't need to wait until summertime to enjoy this winning combination in Orlando. Bands, Brew and BBQ is in full swing at SeaWorld Orlando every weekend until March 17, and the beer flows freely during the event.

If you'd like to sample the craft brews, it's $21 for a ten-sample lanyard, with a discount for annual pass holders. Don't forget to get your wristband that shows you're over 21 as well. Then browse among the booths and get a generous sample of the beers that catch your eye. For me, that's the sweet ciders and the spring cider that has a distinct maple taste, but there's something to appeal to every taste, from pale ales to dark lagers. All in all, over 25 brands are represented at the event.

SeaWorld Orlando is a family friendly park, so there's something for the kids, too. Even though they can't indulge in the beer, there's a booth serving up non-alcoholic specialty drinks just for for them.

It's best to get to the park early and buy your beer sampler lanyard when the Bands, Brew and BBQ festivities start at 11:30 a.m. Lines get longer later in the day, and the lanyard is good all day, so you can take your time choosing your brews once you've purchased it.

You'll probably want to try some BBQ, too, so go on to part three of this article to read about the delicious food at this event. Skip back to part one if you missed the bands and music.
