The Buffalo Bandits visit the home of their Thruway rivals the Rochester Knighthawks twice during the 2014 season: Saturday, February 8th (7:30 p.m. face-off) and Saturday, April 19th (7:30 p.m. face-off).
The Knighthawks, founded in 1995, play their home games at the Blue Cross Arena at the War Memorial in Rochester. Located at 1 War Memorial Square, the arena, which opened in 1955, seats over 14,000 spectators; the arena is also the home of the American Hockey League’s Rochester Americans – the Buffalo Sabres’ farm team – as well as the Rochester Razorsharks of the Premier Basketball League and the Rochester Lancers of the Major Indoor Soccer League.
Tickets are available for both games now through www.ticketmaster.com; they are also available at three Rochester-area Walmarts: 1200 Marketplace Dr., 2150 Chili Ave. and 1490 Hudson Ave. Tickets range in price from $20 to $25 (plus taxes and fees).
