The Edmonton Rush, founded in May 2005, played their first games during the 2006 season. The Rush play their home games at Rexall Place, located at 7424 118th Ave. in Edmonton. Formerly known as the Northlands Coliseum (1974 to 1995), the Edmonton Coliseum (1995 to 1998) and the Skyreach Centre (1998 to 2003), Rexall Place is also the home of the NHL’s Edmonton Oilers and the WHL’s Edmonton Oil Kings. The arena has a seating capacity of over 16,800. In 2008, Rexall Place hosted the NLL All-Star Game, and was also one of two sites that hosted the 2012 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships, along with the Calgary Saddledome.
Tickets for the upcoming Bandits/Rush game are available through www.ticketmaster.ca; they range in price from $39 to $69 (plus taxes and fees – Canadian funds).
