Bandits on the road 2013: Rochester Knighthawks

The Buffalo Bandits visit the home of their Thruway rivals the Rochester Knighthawks twice during the 2013 season: Saturday, January 19th (7:30 p.m.) and Saturday, February 16th (7 p.m.)

The Knighthawks, founded in 1995, play their home games at the Blue Cross Arena at the War Memorial in Rochester. Located at 1 War Memorial Square, the arena, which opened in 1955, seats over 11,000 spectators for lacrosse and ice hockey; the arena is also the home of the American Hockey League’s Rochester Americans – the Buffalo Sabres’ farm team – as well as the Rochester Razorsharks of the Premier Basketball League and the Rochester Lancers of the Major Indoor Soccer League.

Tickets are available for both games now through www.ticketmaster.com; they are also available at three Rochester-area Walmarts: 1200 Marketplace Dr., 2150 Chili Ave. and 1490 Hudson Ave. Tickets range in price from $17 to $29 (plus fees).
