Nashville band (by way of Birmingham), John and Jacob, sold out their first headlining show this past Sunday night, January 19th, at popular venue 3rd & Lindsley. The two, who have been friends since childhood and bandmates since high school, relocated to Nashville two years ago. The band has gained major traction from their song "Be My Girl" which aired on the ABC hit show Nashville. The concert opened with Nashville cast member, Sam Palladio, who plays "Gunnar" and was followed by local talent Los Colognes. The evening was broadcasted live as part of Lightning 100′s Nashville Sunday Nights.
John Davidson and Jacob Bryant have been busy co-writing songs for other artists, including The Band Perry. They signed with Major Bob and are working on their first full-length album expected to be released this spring. Their genre of music is a mix of everything, but mainly country with rock and roll. After a great performance to a sold out audience this Sunday, expect to see these two at many festivals this summer, including Hangout and SXSW.
