My Indian Summer, a 4 piece alt rock band from Towson MD, has burst on to the Baltimore music scene.  With infectious melodies fronting a driving rhythm section, they are sure to have the crowd singing and dancing along.

Their new self titled album crosses styles comparable only if a band like Matchbook Romance were to team up with the Goo Goo Dolls.  Songs like "What Happens in Vegas, Stays in My Phone", while telling the story of young love fighting against it's skeptics, manages to keep the tempo up and your feet moving.  "A Song for my Friends" stands a shining example of the bands love and appreciation for the fans and is sure to be a crowd favorite.

"The idea was to write songs with the energy of pop punk and with honest lyrics that would reach people and make them feel like" "This is my song.  This is for me", says singer and guitarist Brian Gossard.  The crowd seems to agree.  Fans have been known to do everything from steal guitar pics from the stage to acquiring band members phone numbers and sending flirtatious text messages.

My Indian Summer is currently performing in the Baltimore/Washington Metropolitan area.  You can get tour dates and more at www.myspace.com/myindiansummerband.  Also grab your digital copy of their self titled album at itunes.com/myindiansummer
