A banana cream pie is simple to make, and is a good holiday or any time dessert item. Walmart, located at 900 Stillwater Avenue in Bangor, has all the ingredients needed to make this scrumptious dessert. Using store brand items will allow you to spend less without sacrificing taste.
The banana cream pie is easy to make.
Ingredients
banana pudding mix
1 ¾ cup milk
graham cracker pie crust
1 or 2 bananas
whipped topping

Mix the pudding and the milk together and chill until needed.

Slice a banana into rounds and place them around the bottom of the pie crust. If there are extra slices, set them going up the inner edge of the crust.

Pour the filling into the pie crust, and then add the whipped topping.

Refrigerate until ready to use.
Tips

Use chocolate pudding in place of the banana pudding. After adding the whipped topping, sprinkle with mini chocolate chips.

Rather than using a banana pudding mix, use vanilla. Once the topping is spread over the top of the pie, add a few banana slices to the center of the pie and drizzle with melted milk chocolate.

Top the original recipe with fresh berries, or drizzle with melted dark chocolate.
