45-year old Australian actor Eric Bana will be heading home for the Bathhurst 12-Hour (aka Liqui Moly) run February 7-9, where he will co-pilot the #99 Lamborghini Gallardo LP520 along with teammates Peter Hill and Simon Middleton.

The Bathurst 12 Hour (currently called the Liqui Moly Bathurst 12 Hour) is an endurance race for production and GT cars held at the Mount Panorama Circuit, in Bathurst, Australia in February each year.
Begun in 1991, and ran at Mount Panaorama until 1994, before being moved to Sydney Motorsport Park for one race in 1995. The race was then temporaily discontinued until 2007.

This will be Bana’s third trip to Bathhurst, and while he has held the (overall) lead in the race before (only to lose it after a track incident in 2011), he will be looking for a Class B victory this year.
“I can’t wait to get back to the circuit,” he told FoxSports. “The car is fantastic to drive and the thought of competing once again with a couple of mates at this event is very exciting.”
