Bam! Rapture's Riot, a date at Tommy Rockers

This Saturday, Feb 12, Tommy Rocker's Cantina and Grill, located at 4275 Dean Martin Drive, here in happy Las Vegas, hosted a charity event benefitting The Safe Nest Women Shelter with a fashionista variety show hosted by BAM! iNTrTAINMENT and C.N.R. Concepts, befittingly called, Rapture's Riot.

The Truck Stop event, every Saturday from 10pm until 4am, greets you outside at Tommy Rockers, serving up a carvival of fabulous goodies such as pulled pork, Indian flatbread sandwiches, and other catering truck yummies. This is fast becoming a local hotspot, and every few weeks, Tommy Rocker's hosts  BOH Brawl, where gourmet chefs from all over compete in the cramped environment of a catering truck to see who has the makings of the best Chef. Mrs. Donna Rocker, of the superb Black Mountain Grill on Eastern Avenue, is one of the judges over the competition. Take a look at Tommy Rocker's calender, this is an event that everybody should check out before it is gone. As always the food is great inside...and out...at Tommy Rocker's.

The designers and promoters of this entertaining extravaganza , MzMina Kahn of BAM!, Amber F. of Ex Creations, the gorgeous MC of the program - Brieanna Brock of All Knight Studioz and Mike Adams of C.N.R. Concepts provided quite a show! Three bands played, Goldtop Bob - bluesy, jazzy, utterly awesome, with Goldtop Bob belting out tunes like a blues king makin' love. The Fremonts - provided a creative effects twist on old school by Johnny Cash and Jerry Reed, with character player, Rob Rucker, jolting bass on his rocket red guitar. Thee Swank Bastards - rifted with alternative originals, comic intervals, and a screaming guitar show by Jesse, singer and lead guitarist, who riveted the audience with an over and behind his head jamm-fest. All three groups were tremendous!

Tommy Rockers also had a Burlesque Review, featuring a lineup of gorgeous creative artists by Nuclear Bombshells, featuring Stardust, Neon, Ivana Blaize and Sue Nami Sake. Neon did a sexy, jazz, vocal rendition of 'Fever', followed by an enamouring belly dance by Resa Athena.

Stand up comic, Rob Cole, known as the 'Balloon Master', was hilarious, working balloon art into the world of stand-up comedy, and soon to be featured on network television. He was so funny, it took till the next morning before people could catch their breath from laughing so hard.

Mike Adams, of C.N.R Concepts co-hosted and MC'd, calling out the winners of the raffle drawings.  C.N.R. Concepts is in the process of coordinating a free program to teach battered women preventive measures in self defense, and self defense tactics in cooperation with The Safe Nest Women's Shelter. Providers of some of the raffle items were Curl Up and Dye Hair Salon, and Johnny Blades Art, Line and Canvas, Koolsville Tattoo, Exsposed Eyecandy, Shag Me Salon, Heather Evans donated silver and platinum jewelry, Blades and Bombshells Fencing, Insert Coins Video Lounge Game Bar.

The catwalk at Tommy Rocker's had over twenty-five, heart throbbing models, for the Rapture's Riot review. The ladies strode down the runway in super creative inspirations, featuring looks of sexy, vamp sexy, romantic, virginal bride, virginal jilted bride, dominatrix with slaveboy, and anti Valentine's designs contributed by designers MzMina Khan of BAM! iNTrTAINMENT, Amber F. Ex Creations, MC Breanna Brock of All Knight Studioz, Mindy Jay, Ana Torpedo Designs, Adriana Gonzalez, K Rose Kouture, Lenka Fucikove and The Black Room, with make-up artistry and effects done by Bishop F/X, Blaze Linn, Raven Rex Franco, Larry Thielen, Kanjaven J. Shane, Tina Nicole Torres, and hair done by Melody Rogers, Larry Thielen, and Dacia Melaka.

The great Tommy Rocker himself finished off this night with his Florida Key, cozy feelin', tropical heat theme of reggae, and Carribean influence with fellow singer Prince Ama, crooning Shaggy, Uncle Kracker, and Bob Marley tunes to give the night an amazing finish.

Kudos to the cover-free event planners of this night! It was well planned, well orchestrated, fun, interesting, involving and a great, GREAT time! The Safe Nest could not of asked for better benefactors to champion their cause for providing safety to battered women, and Tommy Rocker's hospitality is the absolute best.
