Today: Mostly cloudy during the morning. Clouds and sun during the afternoon with scattered thundershowers. The high will be in the mid 80s.
Tonight: Becoming mostly clear with a low in the mid 60s.
Saturday: Mostly sunny and warm, but pleasant with a high in the mid 80s.
The extended forecast calls for clouds and sun on Sunday with a chance of a thunderstorm. The low will be in the upper 60s and the high will be in the upper 80s. Clouds and sun on Monday with a chance of a thunderstorm. The low will be in the upper 60s and the high will be in the upper 80s. Clouds and sun on Tuesday with widespread thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening. The low will be near 70 and the high will be in the upper 80s. Clouds giving way to sunshine on Wednesday with a low around 70 and a high in the mid 80s. Sunny on Thursday with a low in the upper 50s and a high in the upper 70s.
A frontal boundary will move a bit more to the south and east today, resulting in more sunshine but still a slight chance of a thundershower. However, the front is expected to lift back northward as a warm front on Sunday and usher in more humid conditions with highs in the upper 80s on Sunday. There is a slight chance of a thunderstorm on Sunday as well. Moving into next week, seasonably warm and humid conditions are expected on Monday and Tuesday followed by a strong cold front that will produce widespread thunderstorms on Tuesday afternoon and evening. Cooler and less humid air will overspread the Middle Atlantic states by the middle of the week.
