Baltimore students skipping school to congratulate Ravens at parade tomorrow

The Ravens will hold a victory parade tomorrow, Tuesday February 5th, to celebrate their win at the Super Bowl XLVII. The parade is set to take place around 12:30pm at M&T Bank Stadium. The event is free and includes live entertainment. Other than the parade, tomorrow is scheduled to be a normal Tuesday, meaning school will be in session.

According to Baltimore City School's Twitter account, @BaltCitySchools, "For those asking: Though we congratulate @Ravens on the great win yesterday, school schedules will NOT change tomorrow for the parade."

Apparently, that will not stop many students from ditching classes tomorrow.

I scrolled through some Baltimore students' tweets on Twitter and found many tweets like these:

@PaigeyCakess: "Ravens aren't even my team and my mom is taking me to the parade tomorrow so I can miss school :) #happygirl"

@kyle_lally14: "My mommy is letting me skip school for the parade tomorrow โ˜บ RAVENS!"

@meganwood16: "I love how much of a ravens fan my dad is. He said I can skip school to go to the parade tomorrow ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ #RAVENPRIDE

@CaseyFitchh: "No school for me tommorow, gonna celebrate with my Ravens at the parade. ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿˆ"

@hardyjonaskeys: "My economics teacher told us today that school is over rated, that we should live life and go to @Ravens parade tomorrow! lol!

@hakuna_matudah: "RAVENS PARADE, EVERYONE BETTER BE THERE TOMORROW. School isn't that important, it's a B day anways"

@BlackNasty_365: "No class for me tomorrow cuz ima hit up this Ravens parade tomorrow. Gonna e wild cuz Baltimore is wild itself"

@ElizabethSwig: "Skipping school tomorrow to go to the @Ravens parade"

@Chung_fun: "Everyone's skipping tomorrow for the parade #ravens"

@TheJBear: "@govenoromalley you need to issue an executive order closing all MD public schools tomorrow, and Tuesday for the inevitable parade #ravens"

So basically, if you're a teacher in Baltimore, you might as well toss your lesson plan for tomorrow and expect a sparse crowd.
