Since my birthday is during the month of June I am offering a giveaway to help me celebrate it.
I am giving one lucky winner 2 tickets to the June 28th match of the Mason Dixon Master Chef Tournament.
Your ticket includes a four-course meal, non-alcoholic drinks (iced tea, water and coffee), gratuity and entrance to 6/28 competition (doors open at 5 pm). Alcoholic drinks and soft drinks will be available for purchase. You will have a choice of a chicken, beef or vegetarian entree. The dress code is business casual or better attire for the competition.
You are also eligible to be randomly selected that evening to participate as a 'guest judge'. If selected as a 'guest judge', you will have the opportunity to taste the chefs' entrée creations and vote for your favorite.
The June 28th match up is between Chad Novak from Don't Know Tavern vs Thomas Friend from Skipjack's Restaurant & Crab House.
The entree choices on June 28th are as following:
- Chicken Entrée- Chicken Cacciatore: breast of chicken sautéed with summer peppers in a spicey plum tomato sauce
- Beef Entrée- Garlic Filet: grilled filet of beef with roasted garlic demi glase
- Vegetarian Entrée- Vegetable Empanadas: short crust stuffed with summer vegetables and finished with a basil vinaigrette
