Anybody who watched Super Bowl XLVII knows that the Baltimore Ravens’ Jacoby Jones can run. He came out of the locker room primed and ready with a 108-yard kickoff return to start the second half of the game. But now the question is, can he dance? According to Yahoo Sports on Feb. 8, Jacoby Jones wants a spot on “Dancing With the Stars.”
Jacoby Jones was on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Thursday night. Kimmel asked Jones if he’d like to be on “Dancing With the Stars” and he responded with a very humorous version of “Yes!” “Dancing With the Stars” has made household names out of players like Emmitt Smith, Hines Ward and Jerry Rice, among others.
Here’s how it went down on the show.
Kimmel: Would you consider being on Dancing With The Stars? As a representative of the ABC television network, I would like to offer you the chance to compete on Dancing With The Stars. What do you think about that?
Jones: Let me ask you this: Do polar bears poo on ice?
Kimmel: I'm relatively sure that they do, although I've not witnessed it ...
Jones: I hope they don't do it in water, that would be nasty!
Kimmel: So you would do that (go on DWTS)?"
Jones: Oh yes sir ... I'll get it done. I'll get it done, baby.
Not so sure if Kimmel has the authority to make that offer, but “Dancing With the Stars” should definitely consider Jacoby Jones for the upcoming season. He’s light on his feet, not hard to look at, has a great personality and is pretty well known right now. What more could they ask for?
