Super Bowl XLVII is the wrangle of the best from the American Football Conference (AFC), Baltimore Ravens and the National Football Conference (NFC), San Francisco 49ers. This year’s Super Bowl will also match two brothers for the bragging rights for the rest of the year. Baltimore Ravens, Head Coach John Harbaugh and San Francisco 49ers Head Coach, Jim Harbaugh. John and Jim welcome the sibling rivalry and may the best man win, but in this case, may the best team win. Go Ravens and Go 49ers.
For one Ravens player, this will be the final time that he will suit up in a football uniform. Lewis is retiring after this game. Ray Lewis is known for his superstar and persistent play as linebacker on the field. For many Atlantans, Ray Lewis is also known for his off the field legal issues that took place in Atlanta, Georgia. Lewis became a household name from his implication in a January 31, 2000, fight along with two men in his entourage and another group of people. Two men lost their lives, they were brutally stabbed outside of a lounge in Buckhead. The fight resulted in an indictment on murder and aggravated assault charges.
Lewis in a plea agreement pled guilty to obstruction of justice in exchange for testimony against two other defendants. Since that time, Ray Lewis has moved on with his life to repair the damage that situation caused to his reputation and professional career. For many Atlantans, they have forgiven, but they have not forgotten.

The winner of this year’s Super Bowl will be the team that shows up and shows out with the best coaches and the best offensive and defensive players. The winner will be the team that plays the fourth quarter like they played the first quarter.
Millions are awaiting the halftime show featuring Beyonce and the reuniting of Destiny’s Child. Also, the diva and songster Alicia Keys, will electrify the Super Dome with the singing of the ‘The Star Spangled Banner.’
This is the first Super Bowl featuring two teams with unbeaten records in previous championship games; Ravens are 1-0 and the 49ers 5-0 in previous Super Bowls. New Orleans has been jamming all week.
New Orleans and Miami are two cities that have hosted the Super Bowl for ten years. The winner will decide the National Football League champion for the 2012 season. This game has be nicknamed the Super Bros and many more. This game is destine to go down in history for many reasons. The halftime show and commercials will also be watched by millions.
