The Baltimore Ravens Super Bowl celebration will continue today as a ticker tape parade is scheduled for the hometown hero's, and by the sound of it, the whole city will be shut down and at the party.
The Baltimore Sun reported on Feb. 4 that many parents are planning to keep their kids home from school and several businesses will be closed today as the Super Bowl celebration will be front and center.
The Sun reported Ravens fan Tim Skane is planning on closing his office for the day so he can enjoy this special event and sees no problem with kids missing school for this once in a lifetime chance to celebrate a Super Bowl win for the home team.
"We very highly value education, but there's certain events in life that have a certain importance and this is one of them," Skane said.. "To be able to support the city and the team, it's incredible."
According to csnwashington.com, The Ravens will celebrate their Super Bowl XLVII Championship with a victory parade and fan celebration at M&T Bank Stadium today Tuesday, Feb. 5, beginning at 10:30 a.m.
