Baltimore Labor Day Weekend Events

If you've decided to stay put this holiday weekend and get some things done around the house, there are still lots of local things you can do in and around the Baltimore area.  If you're planning to get some organizing projects done, don't overdo it.  Take some time out to do something fun over the Labor Day weekend.  It's always a good idea to reward yourself after completing a decluttering and organizing task that you've been putting off!

Here's a short list of a few fun family friendly activities in the Baltimore area:

The circus is in town! The Cole Bros. Circus has been around for a long time and is the oldest American circus still performing under a big top.  They are currently at Arundel Mills, MD until Labor Day, so there's still time to take the kids.  Visit the website to purchase tickets.

Have fun at the Maryland State Fair  on its final weekend!  Labor Day is the last day of this year's Maryland State Fair.  Take advantage of the Labor Day ride special: Monday, September 7, 2009 from 10AM to 10PM.  Fairgoers pay $20 for a ride wristband, to ride an unlimited number of rides from 10AM to 10PM on Labor Day.  Fair admission is not included.  Click here for more information on schedules and pricing for this weekend.

The Maryland Rennaissance Festival has begun!  It continues through October 24, 2009, so schedule a day out with your family so that you don't miss it.  Click here to learn more.
