Baltimore high school choir sings for annual event

The Baltimore City College High School choir, under the direction of Marcus D. Smith, will present its annual spring concert entitled 'Music in the Key of Love'. The event will be held Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 6:00PM in the auditorium of the high school located at 3220 The Alameda in Baltimore.

According to Smith, The Baltimore City College Choir’s annual gala is a celebration of musical excellence featuring a delightful and diverse repertoire. The choir will perform selections composed by Franz Josef Haydn, Houston Bright, David Brunner and Moses Hogan. The concert will include standard choral literature, spirituals, jazz, musical theatre, and of course, spirited gospel selections. The BCC Choir performances are energetic and dynamic with an incredible sense of passion for music.

Tickets are still available.

This choir has become world-renowned as they have traveled to other countries performing and uplifting the masses.
