Baltimore Fashion Week has been a staple fashion week in Baltimore for over 6 years now, and this showcase will be better than ever. With more designers, glamour, and educational scholarships than before, this designer showcase hopes to see their best show yet.

“This year, we break all the molds,” said Sharan Nixon, executive producer of Baltimore Fashion Week. “From avant garde to spring beauty, petite designers to standard runway – we will showcase the best that designers the DMV has to offer.”

Designers will be showcasing their unique styles this year at the Lord Baltimore Hotel on August 14-17, 2014. There will be a runway segment showcasing younger models ranging in age from 7 to 13 opening night August 14, 2014, as well as runway models – the showcase aims to present styles that people can be inspired by, and even take home. The showcase also generates financial support for three educational scholarship initiatives.

“When I think of beauty, that beauty doesn’t have just one shape, color, or size,” Sharan Nixon further says. “I want to deliver a showcase where everyone can find pieces that speak to their soul.”
