Baltimore & DC next in line for some snow?

After a historic mega-storm in the NE, the weather Gods will focus their attention on the Mid Atlantic for the next week or so. I don’t expect any monster storms, but we could finally get our first respectable snow here in MD over that time period. The first threat will come from a southern branch wave on Wednesday into Thursday Morning. A cold front will move through the Mid Atlantic on Monday, and that front will stall while an area of low pressure develops in the South and rides NE into the DelMarVa. Temps will likely be on the fence between rain & snow in MD, but I think we have a good shot at a moderate snowfall in some areas. The storm should NOT turn the corner and move into New England. This storm should be a miss for those folks. The pattern then becomes very amplified Presidents Day Weekend, bringing another threat for an East Coast storm at that time. Stay tuned!
