Baltimore's downtown Club 347 is the place where one can network and enjoy good conversation, food, drinks and atmosphere. According to its website, "Club 347 aims to bring you the best in entertainment and atmosphere in Downtown Baltimore".

There is entertainment for everyone, including pool tables, bars and dance floors. The club's motto is "The smoothest club in town".

Wednesday April 30, 2014, however, found patrons braving a torrential deluge happening outside to frequent a new feature being held at the club, located at 347 N. Calvert Street. The event, called 'Roc the Mic Happy Hour' featured six performers who mesmerized the audience with poetry and hip hop/rap music. The performers included: poets Nova Gray, Ovasian, Edgar Allan Josh, Franchesca Collins, rapper Japiro, and rap group Rau Union.

Hosted by rapper RayVic, the bi-weekly feature promises to be a draw for people looking for something to do in the middle of the week, Hump Day. The event will be held from 7:00PM - 12:00AM every other week. The cost is ten dollars.

Rayvic said he is trying to create a diverse venue to build a broader network which has something for everyone, whether it is comedy, spoken word, R&B, hip hop or any other genre of entertainment. He anticipates as word of the venue gets out, the crowds will become larger.
