Baltimore City Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake's Spring Cleanup has been schedule for Saturday, April 21, 2012, from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m., Public Works Director Alfred H. Foxx announced on Thursday.
Foxx said community leaders may register for the event by calling the city's 311 service center.
Foxx said that containers for debris collection will be available on a first call basis. Bags and brooms will be limited and must be signed for by the community leader, he said, and all supplies must be returned to the Bureau of Solid Waste after the cleanup.
