Baltimore City's Restaurant Week is nearly here

A bit later this year, Baltimore City’s Restaurant Week is making an appearance in February tied in with the city’s “Absolutely Febulous” promotions with restaurants, hotels and attractions. There are many deals to be had at local attractions. Make a staycation out of it get a room, enjoy the museums and dine. See the city like tourist see us in all our glory. Absolutely Fabulous kicks off today for attractions and hotels and Restaurant Week starts Sunday, February 16th through to Sunday, February 23rd with offerings for 2 course lunch at $15, 3 course dinner at $20 or 30 and some locations are offering brunch.

You all should know about now that I’m all about food so let’s get down to what’s hot. Richard Gorelick – Baltimore Diner of the Baltimore Sun made his top choices eleven choices. I have a thing for prime rib so choices for me would be the Prime Rib, Michael’s Steak & Lobster and Costas who offer it on their Restaurant Week dinner menus. I can cook but I never seem to get the prime rib done like the restaurants.

Italian, my choices are Sotto Sopra and Verde Pizza. I think Ozra’s lunch sounds outstanding for Middle Eastern food. Other choices: Sascha’s, the Food Market and Gertrudes. Oh hell, so many choices. Check out the menus and see if you can grab a reservation.
