Her first book is entitled, Secrets of the Heart; her second Love is the Key. Now Baltimore author Tonya Dowhite has done it again, with her third self-published collection of poetry simply entitled, Believe.
Positioned between beautiful bright orange covers with a cross on the front, this book will draw the reader to what lies within. This collection of poetry, according to Dowhite, is meant to encourage people to love and believe in a higher power than themselves in order to get through difficult times. She has also used the poems in the book to write about how her own life has been changed and she encourages the next generation to believe as well.
As this writer perused the collection, there were several poems which caught my eye, including: Be a Leader, make a Difference and The Spirit Inside of Me.
Several people have given positive feedback and told Tonya what a blessing the book has been to their lives. Dowhite has been distributing the books as gifts to the special people in her life.
What's next for Dowhite? She is moving toward writing children's books centered around her relationship with her daughter.
