A Bally's hotel shooting early Monday morning left one dead, and now new details are emerging about what led to the confrontation. KVVU shared the available details on Oct. 21.
It seems that a patron who attempted to stop the gunman at the Bally's hotel entrance is the person who was shot and killed. The shooting happened about 5:45 a.m. Monday. It seems that the shooter had paid to enter Drai's, then got into an argument because he subsequently wanted his cover fee refunded.
During the argument the alleged shooter pulled out a gun and shot at security guards and a manager. At least three people, including one customer and two security guards, tried to subdue the gunman. The customer was shot and killed while the security guards were injured. The suspect was then tackled and taken into custody.
The Bally's hotel shooting suspect has not yet been named. The investigation continues.
