Rachel Wilcox, 27, of Ballwin, was charged on Thursday following an incident on 6-January 2013 involving driving while intoxicated; with her 6-year old daughter in the vehicle. According to the Saint Peters Police, Wilcox had been reported as swerving by other motorists around midnight near the intersection of Mid Rivers Mall Drive and Cottleville Parkway. During a traffic stop, Wilcox became verbally and physically combative and spit and slapped police officers. The police contacted the Department of Social Services to take custody of the child.
