As the local venue for the fifth annual National Dance Day, Saturday, July 26, 2014, Ballet Austin will celebrate and promote dance and movement with special classes that day.
Adults, teens, and children 10 and up are invited to participate in dance classes at Ballet Austin’s Butler Dance Education Center, 501 West 3rd Street. This event is sponsored by the Dizzy Feet Foundation in connection with the hit FOX television series So You Think You Can Dance. A $10 tax-deductible donation is asked for per class—or you can dance all day for $28.
Check out the full schedule of classes offered on Saturday, July 26 as a part of National Dance Day below. Included is a special beginner routine, the Everybody Dance Routine that Ballet Austin instructors Tara Alperin and Jenny Alperin will teach from 11-12 noon. Try something new!
Classes will close if they fill up. For more information call: 512.501.8704.
