I can easily understand the reason behind this situation. Namely people like happy events like weddings and they never hesitate to get involved in happy occasions. However when it comes to sad and miserable event like funerals, they usually want to stay away from it and not so many people want to learn funeral floral decorations.
As mentioned in the above, there are several points which are different each other between wedding and funeral flowers. Both kinds of arrangements have their own features, merits and demerits. During winter season, the demand for wedding floral decoration is apt to be limited. However the demand for funeral decoration remains stable or it may be higher than spring or summer season partially (or mainly) because many old people often pass away when the temperature is so low. If you are engaged in offering both wedding and funeral floral decorating services, your floral business can be well stabilized regardless of a seasonal factor.
When economic condition is good, many people feel motivated to get married because their income level stays high and they have much less concern about losing a job. This kind of situation enhances business opportunity of wedding floral services. However once economy slows down, people become very careful in spending money for weddings. How about funeral flower decoration ? This business is of course somewhat affected by economic situation. However it is much less influenced by economic conditions than wedding flower business. Regardless of economic conditions, people pass away quite unfortunately as far as people are mortal. Especially during the winter season, the number of people who pass away is usually higher than other season. This situation can contribute to compensating the loss of revenue. Although funeral flower business looks attractive, business owners are usually pressed for the time because customers often need urgent or same day delivery of flowers.
